In the modern society which the digital technology grew fast. The online resources have taken place of print resources. In fact, reading online is not a good option. Jakob Neilson says reading online is about 25% slower than reading papers. Eye will be tired after reading from computer for a long time. Most people scan online content. The point is also from Neilson. A research shows 79% users scanned new page when they came across and 16% read word-by-word.
Therefore, topic of content online should be clear and attract attentions. This always reflects on headlines, subtitles, quotes etc. Pictures are other imortant elements. After searching internet, I found a website showing online writing tips. There are 12 tips for online writing.
The website tell us how to publish contents online and how to let readers read paciently. In fact, most readers like using search engine to get information waht they want to know and extent the information. So authors should make sure their articles have a concise and clear titles even the keywords. The SEO is a way to let reader easy find contents. Making the SEO more convenient, authors should ensure the titles short and include the key information like who, what happened and where happened.
